We know that toddlers at this age are naturally curious, and eager to explore the world around them using all their senses. Our Todder Classroom is filled with bright, colourful artwork created by the children, with plenty of activities and resources to nurture their curiosity.
Our outdoor areas and garden are also a great environment for your toddler to enjoy hands-on activities in the fresh air.
Toddlers Learning Skills
Our Toddlers Classroom programme supports your child’s early experience of learning and gaining independence, and is designed to help build:
- Learning how to play with other children – sharing toys and being gentle when playing
- Developing awareness of other children’s feelings
- Learning how to enjoy being with other people – both fellow toddlers and adults
- Growing in independence by learning how to do tasks such as eating, and putting on and taking off shoes by themselves
- Learning how to help themselves and others by tidying up after playtime and eating
- Understanding new words and simple instructions, and how to respond to them
- Learning basic words and developing an appreciation for other languages such as French, Arabic, and Spanish
- Developing the confidence and skills to express themselves more freely
- Learning how to respond appropriately to different situations
